Telehealth Mental Health Physician, MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough psychiatric evaluations through telehealth platforms.

• Assess patient medical histories, symptoms, medications, and pertinent background information.

• Identify and treat conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and OCD.

• Create and execute customized treatment plans for patients.

• Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.

• Educate patients on their treatment plans, medication use, and follow-up care procedures.

• Ensure timely and precise clinical documentation within the EMR system.

• Complete chart notes and prescriptions within mandated timeframes.

• Work collaboratively with clinical and operations teams to enhance patient care and maintain continuity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board Certified Physician (MD/DO) or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

• Possession of an active and unrestricted medical license; multi-state licenses are preferred.

• Current DEA registration.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health treatment.

• Experience in prescribing controlled substances.

• Excellent clinical judgment and comfort in managing common outpatient psychiatric conditions.

• Availability to work at least approximately 15 hours per week is preferred for continuity of patient care.
