Telehealth Mental Health Physician, MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough psychiatric assessments through telehealth platforms.

• Evaluate patient medical histories, symptoms, medications, and pertinent background information.

• Identify and manage conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and OCD.

• Create and execute personalized treatment strategies.

• Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, adhering to clinical and regulatory standards.

• Educate patients about their treatment plans, medication use, and follow-up care.

• Ensure timely and precise clinical documentation within the EMR system.

• Complete chart notes and prescriptions within established timeframes.

• Work collaboratively with clinical and operations teams to enhance patient care and continuity.

• Conduct mental health evaluations and provide treatment for adult patients nationwide.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board Certified Physician (MD/DO) or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

• Active and unrestricted medical license; multi-state licensure is preferred.

• Current DEA registration.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in mental health treatment.

• Experience in prescribing controlled substances.

• Strong clinical judgment and comfort in managing prevalent outpatient psychiatric conditions.

• Availability to work a minimum of approximately 15 hours per week (preferred for maintaining patient continuity).
