Telehealth Mental Health Physician, MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments through telehealth platforms.

• Evaluate patient medical histories, symptoms, medications, and pertinent background information.

• Diagnose and manage conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and OCD.

• Create and execute tailored treatment plans for each patient.

• Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, adhering to clinical and regulatory standards.

• Educate patients on their treatment plans, medication usage, and necessary follow-up care.

• Ensure the maintenance of precise and timely clinical documentation within the EMR system.

• Complete chart notes and prescriptions within stipulated timelines.

• Work collaboratively with clinical and operational teams to enhance patient care and ensure continuity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board Certified Physician (MD/DO) or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

• Possess an active and unrestricted medical license (multi-state preferred).

• Hold an active DEA registration.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in mental health care.

• Proficient in prescribing controlled substances.

• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and comfort in managing common outpatient psychiatric issues.

• Availability to work a minimum of approximately 15 hours per week (preferred for patient continuity).
