Técnico/a Senior de Sistemas MFT – IBM Sterling

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Administer, maintain, and evolve managed file transfer (MFT) platforms.

• Manage solutions based on IBM Sterling, including Connect:Direct, B2B Integrator, Secure Proxy, and Control Center.

• Monitor and ensure the availability of data transmission services in distributed and cloud environments.

• Resolve complex incidents by conducting root cause analysis and defining preventive and corrective actions.

• Manage digital certificates, encryption, keys, and security mechanisms related to transmissions.

• Administer and optimize exchanges via FTP, SFTP, SCP, HTTPS, AS2, and EBICS.

• Coordinate actions with systems, network, security, database, middleware, and application teams.

• Execute deployments, updates, and changes in production environments while minimizing operational impact.

• Automate administration, monitoring, and reporting processes through scripting.

• Keep technical and operational documentation up to date.

• Participate in on-call duties, after-hours support, and service continuity plans.

• Drive improvements in resilience, availability, and disaster recovery.

• Provide support and transfer knowledge to junior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience as a Senior Systems Technician or MFT platform Administrator.

• Advanced knowledge of the IBM Sterling suite: Connect:Direct, B2B Integrator, Secure Proxy, and Control Center.

• Experience in secure information transfer protocols: FTP, SFTP, SCP, HTTPS, AS2, and EBICS.

• Experience in administering distributed and cloud environments.

• Solid knowledge of networks and infrastructures: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, ports, and load balancers.

• Experience in managing certificates, encryption, and communication security.

• Knowledge of automation using Bash, Python, or Ansible.

• Ability to analyze and resolve complex incidents.

• Experience in change management, deployments, and maintenance of critical platforms.

• Technical documentation and operational procedure skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Experience with other MFT platforms and enterprise integration solutions is a plus.

• Experience in banking sector environments is also a plus.
