Technology Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of technical delivery while ensuring quality, timelines, and budget adherence across client projects.

• Facilitate technical discovery processes, assessments, and audits; convert business objectives and UX/creative assets into detailed specifications.

• Establish SitecoreAI headless architecture, including content modeling, component design, rendering strategies, integrations, search functionality, personalization, hosting, CI/CD, and environment management.

• Direct the breakdown and estimation of sprints; identify dependencies and risks; determine the technology approach and toolset.

• Conduct solution and code reviews; uphold Helix-aligned and front-end best practices.

• Ensure compliance with performance, accessibility, SEO, and security standards.

• Lead QA and release activities, encompassing test plans, UAT, defect triage, deployment runbooks, rollback strategies, and production releases.

• Act as the primary technical contact for clients regarding decisions, escalations, status updates, risks, and opportunities.

• Allocate and supervise daily team tasks, remove obstacles, and serve as the technical escalation point.

• Mentor and guide developers through feedback, performance evaluations, and training; assist with interviewing and hiring processes.

• Advocate for the responsible use of AI development tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code.

• Aid in proposals, estimates, and client presentations.

• Recognize ongoing client requirements and collaborate with internal resources to explore new opportunities.

• Contribute to internal standards, accelerators, reusable components, and thought leadership initiatives.

• Stay updated on trends related to Sitecore, headless solutions, and AI technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of practical web development experience, with at least 5 years focused on delivering enterprise Sitecore solutions.

• Recent, hands-on experience with SitecoreAI / XM Cloud, including headless architecture, Content SDK (or JSS), Experience Edge and GraphQL, Pages/component builder, SXA headless, and serialization-based DevOps.

• Proficient in Next.js, React, and TypeScript, covering App Router, SSG/ISR/SSR, middleware, and performance enhancement.

• Experience in deploying and managing headless front ends on Vercel and/or Netlify, including handling environments, preview deployments, edge/serverless functions, caching, and CI/CD with Git.

• Familiarity with .NET / C# for Sitecore back-end customization and integrations.

• Expertise in REST/GraphQL API integration.

• More than 3 years of experience leading development teams in an Agile/Scrum environment, including estimation, sprint planning, and code review processes.

• Strong understanding of accessibility, SEO, web performance, and security best practices.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders and presenting solutions to clients.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Willingness to travel as required.
