This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Develop and implement Fastmarkets’ strategy as a price-reporting agency for critical minerals.
• Create valuable strategic content, which includes market reports, thorough analyses, interviews, and commentary.
• Enhance Fastmarkets’ visibility and reputation in emerging sectors.
• Discover opportunities for launching new prices and product development, which encompasses specifications, methodologies, and data submission pools.
• Cultivate relationships with policymakers, regulators, public-sector stakeholders, and market participants while upholding editorial independence.
• Organize market engagement initiatives and strengthen relationships with stakeholders.
• Produce, coordinate, and edit strategic content across various markets.
• Share expertise, mentor reporters, and provide strategic and functional leadership.
• Evaluate and authorize prices to ensure adherence to Fastmarkets’ and regulatory standards.
• Align strategic content with marketing efforts and customer-facing initiatives, including events, presentations, and meetings.
• Act as a brand ambassador for Fastmarkets at both internal and external events, including public speaking and panel moderation.
• Enhance Fastmarkets’ visibility through external channels, such as social media.
• Report directly to the Editorial Director.
• Collaborate with editors, reporters, Editorial Enablement, Events, Marketing, Product, Research, and Editorial and Pricing Enablement teams.
• In-depth expertise in critical minerals.
• Background in a price-reporting agency (PRA) and/or commodity markets.
• Exceptional journalism and editing capabilities.
• Extensive network of contacts and credible, relevant industry relationships.
• Proven ability to collaborate, share knowledge, mentor junior colleagues, and foster strong working relationships across teams.
• Comprehensive understanding of pricing, price discovery, and methodologies.
• Capacity to contribute to benchmark development and market engagement.
• Ability to function effectively at senior levels within a matrix management structure and engage with market participants and stakeholders externally.
• Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to identify market opportunities, emerging trends, and growth areas.
• Excellent analytical abilities.
• Solid commercial awareness and a knack for aligning editorial and pricing activities with broader business objectives.
• Strong collaborative skills across editorial, product, events, marketing, research, and commercial teams.
• Proficient project management and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities.

• Strong influencing abilities, including leading through expertise and credibility without direct reporting lines.
