This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the creation, execution, and upkeep of Jamf’s business continuity management program.
• Oversee daily disaster recovery operations and drive coordinated recovery execution.
• Develop, sustain, and enhance disaster recovery documentation and runbooks in collaboration with Product Development & Delivery.
• Provide guidance to Product Development & Delivery leaders on disaster recovery operations and strategies.
• Design and manage disaster recovery solutions across AWS and Azure utilizing cloud-native recovery patterns.
• Oversee the annual disaster recovery roadmap and exercise schedule.
• Organize and facilitate disaster recovery tests, evidence gathering, and reporting.
• Plan and direct functional disaster recovery exercises, integrating lessons learned into documentation.
• Lead disaster recovery operations during activations, including notifications, escalations, and recovery coordination.
• Maintain the business continuity website and shared drive information while communicating program updates, training, and regulatory modifications.
• Align continuity and resilience strategies with business and engineering goals.
• Validate disaster recovery strategies, patterns, and runbooks against architectural standards and infrastructure plans.
• Keep audit-ready evidence in accordance with SOX, GDPR, DORA, NIST, and ISO 27001/27000 standards.
• Monitor global threats, risks, and events, alerting relevant stakeholders accordingly.
• Provide on-call escalation and support for global incidents or crises 24/7.
• Manage the global emergency notification system along with annual testing.
• At least 6 years of progressive experience in business continuity and disaster recovery, including program ownership, leadership in DR exercises, and infrastructure or application architecture in multi-cloud environments like AWS and Azure.
• Proficient knowledge of operating systems, networking, cloud technology, and security tools.
• Understanding of relevant security and infrastructure standards and regulations.
• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory compliance such as DORA, NIST, ISO 27701/27000, ISO 22301, and SOX (preferred).
• Familiarity with chaos and cloud engineering, as well as AI-assisted testing or recovery validation (preferred).
• Experience using BC/DR planning software and notification systems (preferred).
• Background in emergency management, incident management, and reporting (preferred).
• Experience communicating with executives during crises and continuity situations (preferred).
• Ability to influence and collaborate across functional teams without direct authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to convey disaster recovery risks and strategies to both executive and technical audiences.
• Experience in independently leading multiple projects with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• A 4-year bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, a related field, or business administration, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Relevant certifications in business continuity, disaster recovery, or resilience such as CBCP, CBRITP, or MBCI (preferred).
