Technical Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of Nametag’s technical documentation for clients.

• Create user manuals, detailed instructions, API documentation, release notes, and online help FAQs.

• Adhere to and uphold company style guides for uniform messaging.

• Review documentation to correct errors and integrate feature updates.

• Utilize customer support data to enhance unclear sections of guides.

• Monitor page views and user feedback to evaluate the usefulness of documents.

• Directly test software to verify the accuracy of manual procedures.

• Collaborate closely with engineering and product leadership on customer guidance strategies.

• Candidates must be legally permitted to work in the United States for any employer without requiring current or future visa sponsorship.

• Over 5 years of experience transforming complex processes into straightforward documentation.

• Familiarity with user experience principles to organize articles in an intuitive manner.

• Experience in high-paced software development cycles and sprints.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or Python for API documentation.

• Quick technical learning ability and a strong interest in identity security.

• Bonus: experience in a security, identity, or B2B SaaS environment.
