Senior Technical Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Product teams and stakeholders to create, revise, and publish precise product content on a consistent schedule.

• Take ownership of and enhance an AI-assisted workflow for gathering source materials, drafting, and preparing content for publication.

• Ensure well-organized and easily navigable content for both customers and developers.

• Enhance content structure, information architecture, and terminology.

• Develop reusable style guides, templates, and contribution workflows.

• Continuously adapt content and structure to meet evolving business and user needs.

• Work alongside product managers, engineers, product marketing, and support teams to incorporate new features and updates.

• Identify gaps in documentation and processes, and recommend improvements, including opportunities for automation.

• Familiarize yourself with existing content processes and sources of manual effort.

• Design, implement, pilot, and refine an AI-supported content workflow.

• Document the new process to ensure it is repeatable, scalable, and sustainable.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a technical writing or technical support role that involves writing in a B2B SaaS or similar technical setting.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven experience in developing or enhancing repeatable processes and scalable workflows, preferably in documentation, content, or operations contexts.

• Experience working with documentation systems, style guides, or content standards.

• Strong understanding of Knowledge Base & CMS tools.

• Ability to take ownership through to resolution and drive solutions.

• An entrepreneurial mindset and comfort with navigating ambiguity.

• Background check required.

• Nice to have: Domain knowledge in Governance, Risk, and Compliance.

• Nice to have: Experience or a strong interest in leveraging AI tools to enhance writing and content workflows.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

• Nice to have: Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
