This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Facilitate technical training sessions at regional and national sales meetings as well as trade shows for customers.
• Join customer commercial sales managers on ride-alongs to promote and educate clients about brake pads.
• Deliver technical information regarding brake pads to audiences, both technical and non-technical, ranging from 20 to 100 participants.
• Instruct attendees on brake friction materials, differentiating product lines, manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and testing protocols.
• Resolve customer issues related to brake pad compatibility and performance during site visits.
• Familiarize yourself with customers’ commercial sales initiatives and promotional offers.
• Foster and maintain ongoing relationships with customers.
• Coordinate training sessions and schedules in collaboration with the customer training manager.
• Participate in annual internal corporate training alongside R&D and manufacturing teams.
• Provide timely weekly updates on customer visits through reports.
• Engage in weekly team conference calls.
• Cover the Gulf Coast region, which includes Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Tennessee.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Technical expertise in automotive brake systems and repair.
• State or ASE/Master Certifications are advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of original equipment (OE) or aftermarket brake systems and components.
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and diagnostic procedures.
• Previous instructional training experience is preferred, whether in a classroom setting or on-the-job.
• Outstanding written, verbal communication, and presentation abilities.
• Strong skills in communication and conflict resolution.
• Capable of negotiating and making informed decisions promptly and confidently.
• Ability to influence others' decisions and effectively resolve issues or conflicts.
• Highly organized and results-oriented, with the capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in client interaction while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Strong dedication to customer satisfaction and quality assurance.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to travel extensively, up to 75% of the time.
