Technical Staff Member

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Act as the Tier 1 technical representative in client meetings, RFPs, and innovative scopes.

• Engage in comprehensive discovery discussions and transform them into actionable scopes for research and delivery teams.

• Manage the top and middle of the sales funnel by initiating conversations, achieving technical victories, and establishing partnerships.

• Address objections during live technical deep dives with elite engineering and research teams.

• Cultivate the frontier-lab community in the Valley by organizing small, high-impact events.

• Understand the needs of frontier-lab teams and arrange meetings that lead to client development.

• Represent Alice at conferences, analyst briefings, technical presentations, and collaborative research efforts.

• Relay market signals back to the company and take action based on those insights.

• Collaborate with the CTO to identify emerging priorities before they surface in RFPs and integrate them into the roadmap.

• Influence the agenda of the AI Labs pod, set AI security research priorities, and guide product direction.

• Define how Alice operates in the Valley and act as the primary representative on the ground.

• Conduct interviews for related roles, assist other departments in local hiring, and represent Alice in the region.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of relevant experience as a Principal Solution Architect.

• In-depth and current knowledge of AI systems security, encompassing agents, tools, orchestration, data flow, guardrails, red teaming, and evaluations.

• Knowledge of model layers alone is insufficient.

• Familiarity with how frontier labs procure from and collaborate with vendors.

• Proven history of transforming research into marketable products and generating revenue at scale.

• Established credibility with frontier-lab researchers.

• Comfortable serving as a public technical spokesperson.

• Based in the Bay Area with an active network within the Valley AI and security community.

• Proficient in coordinating across the Israel time zone.

• Nice to have: practical experience with RL post-training, GRPO, agentic environments, or evaluation harness design.

• Nice to have: previous experience within a frontier lab, research organization, or vendor selling to one.

• Nice to have: experience being the first senior representative in a new geographical area.
