Technical Staff Member

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of features from inception to completion, encompassing problem scoping, solution design and construction, deployment, and monitoring of production performance.

• Create and develop AI agents and automated workflows aimed at enhancing clinic operations, which include verifying insurance benefits, obtaining prior authorizations, facilitating patient intake, processing claims, and managing clinical documentation.

• Design and implement web and mobile functionalities for clinicians, patients, families, and internal operations teams.

• Transform ambiguous challenges into actionable solutions alongside operators and clinicians; define issues, draft specifications, and deliver initial versions.

• Architect services, data models, and APIs, while managing infrastructure through code.

• Take charge of production services, which involves deployments, monitoring, and responding to incidents.

• Develop evaluations for model-facing features and monitor workflow metrics.

• Safeguard protected health information by employing least-privilege access, ensuring no PHI is logged, and maintaining an auditable change record.

• Design and maintain skills, plugins, MCP integrations, and review bots utilized with Claude Code and Codex.

• Collaborate across the platform with clinicians, operators, and distributed engineering teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing and deploying production software.

• Proven history of taking ownership of products or features from start to finish, transforming unclear problems into reliable systems.

• Proficient full-stack development skills in Python and TypeScript, with a comprehensive background in frontend, backend, databases, and cloud infrastructure.

• Comfortable navigating a large, established codebase.

• Practical experience in building with LLMs, including tool utilization, agent orchestration, structured outputs, retrieval processes, and evaluations.

• Daily interaction with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.

• Capability to configure AI coding agents with project specifications, skills, MCP servers, hooks, and subagents; manage multiple tasks simultaneously; and meticulously review outputs.

• Strong product intuition and the ability to make effective UI decisions independently, utilizing a component library without the assistance of a dedicated designer.

• High level of initiative and the capacity to overcome obstacles, seek context, and ask pertinent questions as necessary.

• Excellent written communication skills.

• Preferred: experience in healthcare or regulated industries, familiarity with Temporal or other durable workflow engines, knowledge of React Native, experience with production LLM evaluations or safety checks, agent harnesses/MCP servers/plugins, contributions to open-source projects, or personal side projects and internal tools.
