Technical Specialist – Contingent Hire

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• The selected candidate will assist in comprehensive life cycle management within the Inter/Intra Agency Agreement (IAA) framework and aid in the preparation, execution, and oversight of the complete life cycle of Interagency Reimbursable Work Agreements (IRWAs) and Assisted Acquisitions, which includes documentation needs, UDO management, and performance and receipting requirements.

• The Technical Specialist will oversee the entire lifecycle of financial transactions among government entities.

• The main objective is to guarantee that all financial operations are effective, compliant, and accurately reported.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, guiding them throughout the entire process of intra-governmental agreements, from initiation and funding to performance tracking and final closeout.

• Supervise transactions, monitor the receipt of goods and services, and manage as well as reconcile outstanding financial obligations to ensure that records remain accurate and current.

• Identify and resolve discrepancies within financial systems. Conduct regular reconciliations to maintain data accuracy and integrity across various platforms.

• Offer expert guidance to staff and program managers regarding financial policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and enhance transaction efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in the relevant field or 12 years of equivalent experience with 6 years specifically in the specialty area.

• Candidates must be U.S. citizens and possess an active Secret clearance.

• A strong background in federal financial management, resource management, or federal acquisition is essential.

• Experience with the U.S. Treasury's G-Invoicing platform is mandatory.

• Familiarity with other federal financial systems, such as ERPs, is preferred.

• A solid understanding of federal financial laws and regulations is required.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are necessary.
