Technical Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot environments for Momentum Financials.

• Manage development, testing, and production environments effectively.

• Conduct system maintenance, patching, and performance monitoring.

• Assist with change management, release deployments, and testing processes.

• Ensure adherence to federal security and audit requirements.

• Aid in incident resolution, disaster recovery, and system continuity measures.

• Provide support for the operations and maintenance of the Integrated Financial and Acquisition Management System (iFAMS) for the Department of Veterans Affairs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Momentum Financials technical support or containerized platform environments (OpenShift/Kubernetes).

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Capable of passing a Tier 2 Minimum Background Investigation (MBI).

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required.

• Proficient knowledge of application servers, middleware, databases, and integration processes.

• Experience with Linux (Red Hat), Windows Server, and enterprise environment management is necessary.

• Background in deployments, troubleshooting, patching, and vulnerability remediation.

• Understanding of federal security requirements and operations & maintenance (O&M) processes.

• Strong skills in communication, documentation, and problem-solving are essential.

• Experience with federal financial systems O&M is preferred.

• Familiarity with webMethods is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of CI/CD, DevSecOps, and Agile methodologies is advantageous.

• Experience in Oracle or SQL Server administration is a plus.

• Familiarity with Authorization to Operate (ATO) processes, performance tuning, and disaster recovery is preferred.
