Technical Solution Specialist Manager – Middle East

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Saudi Arabia.

📋 Description

• Lead and manage the local Application Specialist team to deliver technical expertise that supports business growth, customer satisfaction, and commercial excellence.

• Assist Sales and Application Specialists in assessing customer opportunities, formulating technical strategies, and enhancing business growth through trials, demonstrations, and solution implementations.

• Create and standardize processes for trials and demonstrations.

• Develop and implement standardized Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for customer installations and training.

• Mentor and develop distributor application specialists throughout the Middle East.

• Allocate and prioritize Application Specialist resources in collaboration with the Head of Sales across various regions.

• Oversee the resolution of complex technical issues and customer escalations.

• Cultivate application expertise for key product lines and advocate for technical best practices and success stories.

• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Business Units, including Emerging Business Units, to identify market trends, customer requirements, and application opportunities.

• Provide technical support for field marketing initiatives.

• Share customer insights and application knowledge with Marketing and Business Units, including Emerging Business Units.

• Establish and nurture relationships with key customers, application experts, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

• Create individualized training and competency development plans for Application Specialists.

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Application Specialist team while ensuring effective succession planning, resource optimization, and employee engagement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in biotechnology, biochemistry, or related life science fields.

• At least 5-8 years of experience in the life sciences sector, including process development and manufacturing experience.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in team management.

• Demonstrated proficiency in relevant process unit operations in cGMP bioprocessing.

• Strong market knowledge and a solid network within the biopharmaceutical industry.

• Excellent leadership, coaching, and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.

• Strong analytical and conflict resolution skills, capable of managing customer escalations and intricate technical scenarios.

• Proven ability to prioritize resources and manage multiple projects in a dynamic commercial environment.

• Effective training and presentation skills.

• Proficient in software applications, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

• Fluent in both English and Arabic.
