Technical Services Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Offer technical guidance to pre-engineering teams during data collection surveys.

• Conduct site surveys to assess facility conditions and project requirements.

• Formulate energy conservation strategies for retro-commissioning efforts.

• Aid design teams in incorporating energy conservation strategies into cohesive energy management solutions.

• Evaluate RFPs for the procurement of equipment and services.

• Collaborate on project engineering in alignment with best practices, company standards, and relevant codes.

• Review critical equipment and system submissions to ensure contract and project outcome compliance.

• Execute commissioning and occasional peer reviews of design documents.

• Provide guidance to project teams on technical and resource needs.

• Assist with site visits to assess construction progress and installation quality.

• Resolve issues related to equipment and system installation/setup.

• Deliver technical support to implementation teams.

• Help optimize complex equipment and system upgrades.

• Identify gaps in project execution and establish standards/processes to address them.

• Support or create tools for effective project execution.

• Troubleshoot system integration and operational challenges.

• Advocate for ENFRA's brand through exceptional execution and positive client interactions.

• Carry out assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision in a collaborative problem-solving setting.

• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to Technical Services team members.

• Prepare technical reports and related documentation.

• Develop training resources.

• Deliver post-implementation on-site operations and maintenance training.

• Contribute to significant business decisions while managing other project tasks.

• Balance project constraints with necessary outcomes for the Technical Services division.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by company leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience in engineering design, energy management, or retro-commissioning.

• Professional Mechanical Engineering (PE) license.

• In-depth technical knowledge of the subject area.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Customer/client-focused mindset.

• Leadership capabilities with a talent for developing and mentoring others.

• Proficiency in problem-solving and analyzing complex systems.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects with competing deadlines.

• Ability to multitask and perform activities beyond the scope of work when required.

• Willingness to travel 50% of the time to job sites or office locations.

• Capacity to climb and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.

• Ability to remain stationary, often standing or sitting for extended periods.

• Capability to move between various worksites.

• Proficiency in performing repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions.

• Ability to work in outdoor, noisy, and quiet settings.

• Capacity to adjust and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
