This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.
• Manage a team of 10–15+ technical Professional Services Consultants and subcontractors responsible for deployment, upgrades, and strategic security initiatives within the Palo Alto Networks Cortex product suite.
• Direct daily operations including recruitment, career advancement, capacity planning, performance assessments, and promotions.
• Ensure comprehensive service delivery across SOC operations, Endpoint protection, Threat Mitigation, Cloud Posture, Runtime, AppSec, and Automation workstreams.
• Collaborate with Sales and Account teams to define engagement scopes, create Statements of Work (SOWs), estimate Levels of Effort (LOEs), and promote specialized consulting and automation packages.
• Develop strategic relationships with clients and act as the main escalation point for intricate technical or operational challenges.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, revenue goals, billable utilization, and customer satisfaction (CSAT).
• Onboard, train, and oversee third-party partners and contractors while upholding internal quality standards.
• Collaborate with the PMO on project planning initiatives.
• Assist in the operationalization of new service offerings.
• Enhance technical training materials for internal teams.
• Minimum of 3 years in delivering or supporting enterprise cybersecurity solutions.
• Proven experience in leading large and complex technical projects.
• Extensive knowledge of SOC environments, Incident Response methodologies, Critical Security Controls, security engineering, SOAR operations, endpoint protection, and threat mitigation.
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, containerization, orchestration, AppSec, and CI/CD DevOps workflows.
• Fundamental understanding of the Palo Alto Networks Cortex product suite.
• Competence in Salesforce (SFDC), Clarizen, and G-Suite.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, MBA, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% within North America.
• Preferred certifications include CISSP, PMP, CCSP, or CISM.
• For cloud roles: Experience leading Cortex Cloud deployment or upgrade projects across CSPM, CWPP, Application Security, and/or Cortex Cloud Automation workstreams.
• For public sector roles: Over 3 years of experience managing government customer engagements; familiarity with public sector procurement, compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, FISMA, FAR), and federal/SLED account growth strategies.
