Retail Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Train, mentor, and motivate a team of Retail Coverage Merchandisers to achieve and surpass client expectations in merchandising, shelving, and sales execution.

• Provide daily strategic guidance to optimize sales opportunities and assist the team in identifying best practices and in-store sales opportunities.

• Conduct regular audits and offer actionable feedback to ensure high-quality execution.

• Establish robust relationships with retail partners through consistent communication.

• Collaborate with Retail Directors and internal stakeholders to align on key initiatives and ensure effective communication across teams.

• Act as a subject matter expert on Acosta’s retail systems.

• Train associates utilizing Acosta University and other tools to enhance in-store performance.

• Create impactful selling materials for retail meetings.

• Conduct bi-quarterly evaluations to support team development.

• Perform additional assigned responsibilities, including meeting physical requirements and maintaining a valid driver’s license for travel.

• Proficiency in retail systems and tools to enhance efficiency and execution.

• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite—Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as necessary.

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and sales skills.

• Comfortable presenting to diverse audiences and confidently addressing questions.
