Technical Service Representative I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver regional technical and biological assistance for Zoetis' poultry vaccine application business in broiler, broiler/breeder, turkey, and layer hatcheries across the United States.

• Serve as the primary support for poultry companies utilizing Embrex Inovoject in ovo vaccination systems.

• Provide training on the operation and techniques of the devices.

• Oversee operations and monitor device data.

• Evaluate vaccination devices and associated processes.

• Offer comprehensive feedback to ensure both internal and external customers achieve optimal performance.

• Supervise the execution and integrity of in ovo vaccination processes within a designated territory.

• Address customer needs through value-added services, such as training, embryo staging, microbial evaluations, post-hatch necropsy, egg crack assessments, site-of-injection studies, and cell viability studies.

• Leverage available data and territorial insights to formulate improvement plans aimed at operational success.

• Regularly gather customer feedback and assess services and client/vendor information for US Sales & Service management.

• Implement changes when necessary.

• Assist with other Zoetis products and species as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, or a related field.

• Four years of experience in a hatchery or a related area.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Skilled in presenting and comfortable with public speaking in small groups and one-on-one interactions.

• Proficient in time management.

• Capable of working independently and exhibiting self-motivation.

• Competent in managing trials, supporting data, and conveying findings effectively.

• Practical biological knowledge of hatchery operations.

• Proficient in using computers and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

• Capable of presenting to large customer audiences or at conferences.

• Willingness to travel over 60% of the time, primarily within the U.S.

• Ability to operate in field environments, including poultry hatcheries, feed mills, grow-out facilities, and home office settings.

• Position should be located in close proximity to hatcheries and poultry production.

• Availability for non-standard work hours.

• Must be able to lift over 25 pounds.

• All applicants must have or be able to obtain authorization to work in the U.S. for Zoetis.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not mandatory.

• A graduate degree is not required but would be beneficial.
