Technical Service Representative I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver regional technical and biological assistance for Zoetis' poultry vaccine application business across broiler, broiler/breeder, turkey, and layer hatcheries in the United States.

• Assist poultry companies utilizing Embrex Inovoject in ovo vaccination systems.

• Conduct training on the operation and techniques of the devices.

• Oversee the monitoring of operations and device-related data.

• Assess vaccination devices and related processes.

• Offer comprehensive feedback to ensure that both internal and external customers function at optimal efficacy.

• Manage the execution and integrity of in ovo vaccination procedures within a designated territory.

• Address customer requirements through training, embryo staging, microbial assessments, post-hatch necropsy, egg crack evaluations, site-of-injection studies, and cell viability assessments.

• Utilize data and territorial insights to create improvement strategies for operational success.

• Provide ongoing feedback from customers and assess services and client/vendor information for US Sales & Service management.

• Propose changes whenever necessary.

• Assist with other Zoetis products and species as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, or a related discipline.

• Four years of experience in a hatchery or a related field.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Comfortable presenting and engaging in public speaking, whether in small groups or one-on-one settings.

• Strong time management abilities.

• Capacity to work autonomously and demonstrate self-motivation.

• Proficient in managing trials and related data while effectively communicating findings.

• Practical biological knowledge of hatchery operations.

• Proficient in utilizing computers and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

• Capable of presenting to large customer groups or at conferences.

• Willingness to travel over 60%, primarily within the U.S.

• Ability to work in field environments, including poultry hatcheries, feed mills, grow-out facilities, and home office settings.

• Ideally located near hatcheries and poultry production, preferably in the Northeast—Delmarva or Pennsylvania region.

• Availability for irregular work hours.

• Must be able to lift more than 25 pounds.

• All candidates must possess or obtain authorization to work in the U.S. for Zoetis.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.

• A graduate degree is not required.
