Technical Service Representative I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +36 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical assistance to architects, contractors, and distributors, offering guidance on the appropriate selection of materials for specific applications.

• Analyze architectural blueprints, details, and specifications to recommend suitable materials for various applications.

• Create specifications and details for architects, engineers, contractors, and distributors.

• Develop technical documents and literature for architects, engineers, contractors, and distributors.

• Organize seminars for architects, distributors, contractors, and other professionals in the construction field.

• Address and resolve customer service and product complaints in a diplomatic and professional manner within authorized limits.

• Manage input and requests from sales and field personnel, and maintain the job file system.

• Identify and relay leads to the sales department.

• Uphold a professional demeanor at all times.

• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the construction industry.

• At least 2 years in technical support for a building material or product is preferred.

• Proficiency in a second language is preferred.

• The physical capability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds frequently.

• Familiarity with architecture, construction practices, and materials.

• Knowledge of LATICRETE products and applications is preferred.

• Awareness of competitive materials is preferred.

• Strong technical communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work on short notice.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.

• Intermediate knowledge and functional expertise in ERP and CRM systems; experience with Oracle EnterpriseOne and SalesForce1 CRM is preferred.

• A positive and cooperative attitude towards all LATICRETE employees and customers.

• A High School Diploma is required.

• Willingness to travel 25%, including some international travel.
