Technical Sales Support Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide technical assistance and expert advice to international clients in office, digital, and field environments.

• Engage in hands-on field activities, including the installation of new systems, development testing, inside sales support, and conducting live product demonstrations.

• Design and conduct training sessions for resellers and OEMs.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to enhance future marine hardware and software offerings based on market insights.

• Support dispatch, maintain shipment logs, and address other cross-functional requirements.

• Take part in a global support rotation to deliver follow-the-sun customer service.

• Be prepared for international travel, which is anticipated to be around 30% of the role.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Geomatics, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Background in hydrographic surveying.

• Proven practical experience with common survey software solutions, such as Qimera, Hypack, EIVA, or CARIS.

• Familiarity with multibeam sonar systems.

• Understanding of geodetic GNSS applications.

• IHO CAT A Accreditation.

• Excellent adaptability and communication abilities.

• Capability to independently tackle complex technical issues.

• Approximately 30% of the role involves international travel.

• Practical skills in electronic troubleshooting, hardware repairs, and system testing are advantageous.

• Experience in supporting marine positioning and orientation hardware or office software is a plus.
