This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as Nordson’s main representative for designated customers by assessing their needs, providing technical support, and offering suitable solutions.
• Market powder application machinery, wear components, service offerings, aftermarket parts, and small booth systems within the designated territory.
• Showcase equipment for customer assessment and assist in payback analysis for suggested equipment solutions.
• Prepare and present professional presentations, proposals, and quotes.
• Analyze field applications and propose enhancements to equipment performance, process reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Cultivate relationships with partner vendors, business entities, and customer stakeholders to foster sales growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Offer training support as an application specialist for both customers and internal team members.
• Stay updated on Nordson products, pricing, policies, and procedures while adhering to company guidelines.
• Utilize knowledge of finishing and coating processes to recommend effective products and solutions.
• Provide prompt technical assistance during urgent customer situations, troubleshooting and resolving issues with maintenance teams on-site or via phone.
• Carry out other responsibilities as assigned.
• A minimum of a two-year technical degree along with two years of relevant industry experience, or a four-year business degree is required; alternatively, six years of industrial sales or service experience is acceptable.
• At least two years of successful experience in industrial finishing sales or service is mandatory.
• Experience in the finishing sector, capital equipment, or a closely related field is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to sell technical products and solutions within an industrial context.
• Capability to service Nordson application equipment and booth systems.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with pneumatics, electrical systems, and powder coating applications.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings.
• Capacity to perform essential duties in a field-based setting.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50–75%, averaging about 2 to 3 nights per week.
