This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Position yourself as a reliable advisor on Palo Alto Networks’ SD-WAN offerings and functionalities, collaborating with your Account Managers and local partners within your designated territory.
• Design and recommend validated solutions that effectively address the specific SD-WAN and security challenges present in each unique environment.
• Identify and document particular issues faced by prospective and current customers that can be resolved through the implementation of integrated solutions.
• Ensure sustained customer satisfaction, support, and adoption of solutions.
• Commit to ongoing personal development and learning to uphold technical leadership in relevant technologies (data center, SDN, public cloud, security, networking, etc.).
• Comprehend and effectively differentiate our offerings from those of our primary competitors.
• Serve as the customer advocate for any technical issues, ensuring follow-up with the customer until resolution is achieved.
• Over 5 years of pertinent technical pre-sales systems engineering experience in the networking domain.
• Extensive experience with SD-WAN architectures/providers and BGP routing.
• Additional preferred technical skills may encompass a combination of the following – WAN technologies – MPLS, MetroE, Leased Lines, Broadband Tunneling protocols – SSL/TLS, IPSec, GRE, DMVPN.
• Proficiency in IP Routing – BGP, OSPF, Static, Network Address Translation.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies – ESX, KVM, Xen, Microsoft preferred.
• Knowledge in network security capabilities – IPS/IDS, Zone-Based Firewalls.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
