This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Conduct structured interviews lasting approximately 20 minutes with selected technical experts.
• Evaluate candidates' technical expertise, communication abilities, and fitness for specialized technical assessment roles.
• Adhere to a provided interview framework and evaluation rubric.
• Pose targeted follow-up questions when additional evidence is required.
• Assess senior engineering candidates across specialized technical fields.
• Evaluate the relevance and strength of candidates' professional backgrounds.
• Identify indicators that support or undermine candidate suitability.
• Differentiate between authentic technical expertise and superficial familiarity.
• Classify candidates based on outcomes such as advance, hold, or pass.
• Offer clear, evidence-based recommendations and highlight any significant concerns or red flags.
• Compose concise post-interview summaries that outline strengths, concerns, unresolved questions, and recommendations.
• Verify candidate availability and relevant work authorization details.
• Confirm exclusivity stipulations and escalate any ambiguous eligibility matters.
• Schedule and conduct interviews during weekday business hours.
• Manage interview and documentation timelines effectively.
• Communicate clearly with candidates and program stakeholders.
• Professional experience in technical recruiting, talent acquisition, interviewing, or technical candidate evaluation.
• Proficient in evaluating senior software engineers and other highly specialized technical professionals.
• Experience in conducting structured or competency-based interviews.
• Strong judgment and the capability to make evidence-based recommendations regarding candidates.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to conduct professional and engaging conversations with candidates while adhering to interview structure.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to efficiently manage multiple interviews.
• Comfortable working with evaluation rubrics and standardized hiring criteria.
• Capable of clearly communicating technical candidates' strengths and concerns to program stakeholders.
• Reliable availability during weekday business hours.
• Fully remote within the United States.
• H1-B and STEM OPT support is not available for this engagement.
• Work must be carried out without using confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, institution, or third party.
• Part-time independent contractor position.
• Fully remote role based in the United States.
• Approximately 10 hours of work per week.
