Technical Recruiter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Manage the complete recruiting process for technical and operational positions, including Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Integration & Test (I&T), and field support roles such as FSEs and FSRs.

• Create and sustain proactive talent pipelines that align with current projects and expected contract awards.

• Collaborate with Program Managers, Directors, and Hiring Managers to clarify requirements and ensure alignment with mission goals.

• Identify and engage candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, clearance platforms, referrals, and defense industry networks.

• Evaluate candidates for technical competencies, eligibility for security clearances, deployability, and cultural compatibility.

• Assist with urgent staffing requirements related to contract transitions, deployments, and surge needs.

• Ensure adherence to ITAR, security clearance standards, and federal employment regulations.

• Represent OWT Global at job fairs, industry events, and specialized recruiting initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, ideally within government contracting, aerospace, defense, or technical sectors.

• Demonstrated success in sourcing and placing engineering, technical, and operational talent.

• Strong knowledge of defense industry requirements, security clearances, and ITAR regulations.

• Proficient in using LinkedIn Recruiter and applicant tracking systems (e.g., ADP).

• Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience in recruiting candidates with active Secret clearance or higher is preferred.

• Familiarity with defense manufacturing and production environments is preferred.

• Military or operational experience is advantageous.
