Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the growth of the PMO by defining methodology, tools, and standards.

• Leverage AI-driven tools and workflows to enhance delivery speed while ensuring quality standards are met.

• Manage project planning comprehensively, covering scope, dependencies, budget, risks, and deliverables.

• Take charge of project intake and setup for client projects.

• Develop kickoff presentations, maintain decision/risk logs, project rosters, project plans, Gantt charts, and closure decks.

• Facilitate client interactions, including planning and readiness meetings, kickoffs, status updates, validation/approval discussions, and closure/transition meetings.

• Promote delivery excellence in collaboration with the Customer team and address potential gaps before they escalate into risks.

• Monitor KPIs to ensure financial and delivery objectives are met.

• Conduct project retrospectives and translate insights into process enhancements.

• Collaborate with architects, solution and technical consultants, and the Product Development team to execute implementations and custom development projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience managing technical projects or programs within a consulting or professional services framework.

• Proven ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects lasting 2 to 6 months across various cross-functional teams, clients, and partners.

• Demonstrated expertise in BI, data analytics, or software development technologies.

• Proven experience in delivering projects that involve BI and data analytics platforms such as Power BI, Databricks, and Azure Cloud.

• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in a billable services environment.

• Proficient in creating Statements of Work (SOWs) and managing project budgets.

• PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification.
