Technical Program Analyst – Logistician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Offer technical and programmatic assistance to the SSBN In-Service Program Office (PMS396)

• Aid the Fleet and Technical Support APM with logistical guidance related to the in-service submarine Fleet

• Facilitate coordination among Submarine Fleet stakeholders, NAVSEA and SSP Program Offices, as well as NAVSUP and DLA supply communities

• Investigate and address supply support challenges

• Prioritize contracting activities and collaborate with DCMA/SIB to enhance supplier performance

• Partner with ICP/ISEA contacts to pinpoint alternative material solutions

• Establish dependable vendor relationships for reverse engineering of obsolete components

• Oversee comprehensive part lifecycle processes, including identification, technical data research, funding, contracting, manufacturing, testing, and vendor qualification

• Assist in recognizing financial programming and resource requirements for PMS396L2 Division operations

• Collaborate with internal and external partners on urgent logistical inquiries and ensure alignment of goals

• Evaluate processes, implement improvements, and provide cost-efficient logistical solutions

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technical discipline

• Over 7 years of demonstrated experience in logistics operations within the Federal Supply System

• Proven ability to convert technical feedback into practical procurement, repair, and inventory strategies

• Strong skills in organization, analysis, and problem-solving

• Capability to enhance logistics and supply chain processes

• Proficient in working effectively under pressure and adapting to rapidly evolving situations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of ensuring alignment between technical decisions and DoD Supply System operations

• Active DoD security clearance, at least Secret, with the ability to maintain it throughout employment
