Technical Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the planning and implementation of tailored software solutions for enterprise clients

• Develop strategic roadmaps, product vision, and manage backlogs

• Collaborate with clients in fulfilling the Product Owner responsibilities

• Facilitate the gathering and analysis of requirements

• Document requirements as Features and User Stories

• Formulate delivery plans alongside teams and clients to achieve project goals and business value

• Offer support, guidance, and mentorship to colleagues in the Product Delivery Team

• Promote innovation and the use of AI tools in product development and delivery

• Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives and the practitioner community

• Assist in shaping future product offerings and client engagement strategies

• Lead product development efforts for key client pursuits

• Present solution vision proposals to client executives

• Aid in client satisfaction initiatives alongside account executives

• Develop client technology roadmaps

• Work in tandem with architects and engineers to assess technical feasibility

• Communicate technology topics effectively to clients and build trust

• Execute established delivery plans

• Convey technical and business requirements to delivery teams

• Partner with senior delivery team members to tackle complex challenges

• Report on project status, risks, and changes

• Manage project delivery utilizing Agile methodologies

• Tailor Agile principles to client maturity and enhance Agile practices

• Maintain backlog health and proactively inform about deviations from expected value delivery

• Serve as a servant leader to the delivery team

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager

• Proven experience in delivering custom enterprise software solutions across diverse technologies, platforms, and hosting models

• Skilled in creating cost estimates for components or entire projects

• Excellent technical writing, verbal communication, and presentation abilities

• Experience acting as a liaison between agile development teams and users to define requirements, conduct business analysis, and drive delivery

• Familiarity with utilizing AI tools in product development, product delivery, or project management

• Strong grasp of websites, web applications, APIs, databases, and cloud functionality

• Technical proficiency to lead development teams credibly and assess complex project risks and issues

• Experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach

• In-depth knowledge of Agile principles and software development life cycle models

• Proficiency with agile work organization tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Trello, Basecamp, or Rally

• Demonstrated success in implementing custom web application projects using Agile methodologies

• Experience in scope, schedule, budget, and risk management

• Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future

• Ability to pass a criminal background check prior to employment

• Nice-to-have: industry-recognized Agile process certification such as PMI-ACP, CSM, CSPO, PAL, SAFe, or equivalent

• Nice-to-have: industry-recognized project management certification such as PMP or equivalent

• Nice-to-have: Microsoft Azure certifications AZ-900, DP-900, or AI-900

• Nice-to-have: experience with .NET, SQL Server, Azure, React, Angular, or Vue.js
