Technical Product Lead – Head of Product & Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• You will take charge of the ongoing development of FunnelCockpit, overseeing everything from the initial product concept to its successful launch.

• You will translate customer insights, organizational objectives, and technical specifications into a well-defined product roadmap.

• You will prioritize features, bugs, and technical enhancements, ensuring the team concentrates on the most critical areas.

• You will offer technical guidance and coordinate our development team, collaborating to enhance our operational methods continuously.

• You will create clear, understandable requirements and acceptance criteria without adding unnecessary bureaucracy.

• You will contribute to technical decisions, conduct code reviews, ensure quality assurance, and manage releases.

• You will evaluate new features from the users’ perspective, ensuring a straightforward and consistent user experience.

• You will engage extensively with AI development tools such as Codex, Claude Code, or similar platforms.

• You will develop efficient AI-assisted workflows for planning, implementation, testing, code review, and documentation.

• For significant or intricate matters, you will work directly within the codebase, create prototypes, or assist the team with root-cause analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in digital product management, software development, or a similar technical product role.

• Strong technical knowledge of modern web applications, APIs, databases, and software architecture.

• Practical experience collaborating with—and preferably leading—development teams.

• A strong intuition for UX, intuitive user journeys, and practical product design.

• Extensive hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development, such as using Codex, Claude Code, or similar coding agents.

• You can critically assess and test AI-generated code to prepare it for production.

• You operate in a structured, self-directed manner and make informed decisions confidently.

• You can differentiate between a quick, practical solution and an architecture that is sustainable long-term.

• Very good German language skills and good proficiency in English.

• Your profile will be particularly appealing if you have previously managed a SaaS product or a complex web platform, continue to code regularly, and have experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, MongoDB, automated testing, CI/CD, or cloud platforms.
