Technical Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Transform ambiguous, high-level objectives into delivered, functional software with minimal supervision.

• Take ownership of extensive projects from start to finish: dissect the challenge, organize the tasks, and ensure successful completion.

• Independently make decisions on UX and project scope, determining what features to develop and what to exclude.

• Operate in rapid iteration cycles: deliver quickly and refine based on real user feedback.

• Utilize agentic coding tools like Claude Code and Codex as integral parts of the daily workflow.

• Identify and communicate blockers, trade-offs, and decisions promptly and transparently.

• Provide updates on completed work and the rationale behind it.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–5+ years of professional experience in software development.

• Demonstrated high agency with a proven history of delivering results from vague objectives without detailed specifications.

• Proficient with contemporary AI-assisted and agentic development processes, including Claude Code and Codex.

• Comfortable with a full-stack approach and adept at working across all layers of the technology stack.

• Strong instincts for product development and the ability to evaluate UX and priorities effectively.

• Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced, early-stage environments.

• Proven experience in delivering side projects, rapid prototypes, or zero-to-one initiatives.

• Excellent, concise communication skills, providing low-overhead updates.

• Reliable internet connection.

• Self-motivated and driven to work independently as a contractor.
