Technical Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ecuador.

📋 Description

• Maintain a close technical relationship with clients, fostering connections based on trust and transparency.

• Coordinate operational management across various levels and teams: N1, N2, N3 Product, DBA, and FrameOps.

• Collaborate with Architecture, Technology, and Security to ensure robust solutions that align with the organization's standards.

• Lead initiatives aimed at ensuring high availability and operational continuity of the platform.

• Coordinate responses to incidents and critical situations, minimizing risks and service impact.

• Continuously analyze and optimize technological resource consumption and infrastructure costs.

• Identify improvement opportunities in production environments and propose sustainable and efficient solutions.

• Ensure operational continuity and service availability by optimizing technological resources and associated costs.

• Connect client needs with Operations, Technology, Architecture, and Security teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in AWS and/or GCP.

• Over 5 years of experience in Operations, Cloud, Infrastructure, Service Operations, or related roles.

• More than 5 years of experience in the technology, financial, or fintech industries.

• Knowledge of high availability, microservices, disaster recovery, backups, and operational continuity.

• Experience in managing SLAs, KPIs, and technical incidents.

• Understanding of cloud infrastructure security and best technological compliance practices.

• Administration and monitoring of infrastructure and production environments.

• Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.

• Client-focused, with trust-based relationships and assertive communication under pressure.

• Cross-functional collaboration between technical and functional teams.

• Results-oriented, with a focus on operational continuity and SLA compliance.

• Critical and analytical thinking to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
