Technical Lead I – Data Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Offer technical oversight and direction to developers and architects to implement comprehensive data solutions.

• Foster the enhancement of technical and business skills through mentoring and knowledge sharing.

• Recognize, assess, and develop efficiencies within current solutions.

• Spearhead the modernization of legacy flat-file integrations by designing and executing cloud-native data pipelines utilizing Azure Data Factory, Azure Function Apps, and Azure SQL.

• Manage API-based ingestion and delivery methods.

• Engage in planning to meet the organization's future technological requirements.

• Lead the shift from conventional flat-file inbound/outbound processes to API-driven integration models.

• Ensure that new solutions conform to cloud architecture standards and long-term modernization objectives.

• Implement best practices and industry standards while planning and executing Holman solutions.

• Assist with onboarding and initial training for new employees.

• Mentor team members and provide feedback for development and performance evaluations.

• Assign tasks and establish deadlines.

• Define technical goals, track key deliverables, and report on performance and delivery metrics.

• Perform additional duties and special projects as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or IT is preferred.

• Practical application development experience.

• Advanced hands-on proficiency in .NET Core and Entity Framework Core.

• Capability to review developer code, uphold coding standards, and assist in performance tuning of data-access patterns.

• Familiarity with Azure resources and architecture.

• Comprehensive experience in SDLC, including development methodologies, version control, and deployment pipelines.

• Advanced understanding of data movement and transformation.

• Hands-on experience in data modeling.

• Experience with ETL tools.

• Knowledge of BI Reporting Tools.

• Over 5 years of experience in application development.

• Experience with supporting CI/CD processes, including Azure DevOps pipelines for .NET, API, Azure Function Apps, and ADF deployments.

• Business process development experience.

• Proven design experience and leadership capabilities.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems promptly.

• Extensive expertise in a technical or functional area.

• Ability to review and enhance processes, methods, and tools.

• Capability to translate high-level cloud strategies into actionable technical directives.

• Adaptability to quickly changing work environments.

• Ability to work within financial and budgetary constraints.

• Proficiency in identifying and resolving operational issues using established processes, expertise, and judgment.
