This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide on-site technical guidance for turbine generator systems at customer-owned utility and industrial power plants.
• Evaluate engineering documents and P&IDs for the plant.
• Diagnose issues with plant systems and equipment.
• Plan, organize, and manage labor, tools, and materials to fulfill contractual work scopes.
• Conduct maintenance and repairs on equipment utilized in nuclear power generation safely.
• Meet contract obligations for Turbine Mechanical and Generator skill sets.
• Supervise and manage repair or inspection processes through electronic communication and documentation technologies.
• Identify, anticipate, and record potential failures along with recommendations for future outages.
• Engage as a member of the Service Team with a focus on safety metrics.
• Lead pre-outage planning and recommend or implement policies and procedures.
• Oversee project execution within the TFA’s core competencies.
• Fulfill responsibilities related to project management and technical leadership.
• Assist with warranty administration.
• Address customer concerns with engineering support.
• Support business operations when not assigned to fieldwork.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a related technical field from an accredited institution, or a High School Diploma/GED with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Steam Turbines.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Significant travel to and from project sites and field assignments is mandatory (80% travel time).
• Ability to secure unescorted security clearance at nuclear power facilities.
• Willingness to work during holidays, weekends, and overtime as necessary.
• A valid Driver’s License and passport are required.
• Capability to climb ladders and scaffolding, work in hot environments, and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Meet Level II core competency skill requirements and successfully complete necessary training programs.
• Completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screenings is required.
• Successful completion of all mandated training courses.
• Familiarity with prints/print reading, manufacturing drawings, P&IDs, and schematic diagrams.
• Preferred experience and training on GE, Alstom, Siemens, or other OEM equipment.
• Knowledge and application of EHS policies and procedures.
• Strong computer proficiency is essential.
• Willingness and ability to travel and work on field assignments.
