Technical Delivery Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee the effective execution of intricate commercial projects.

• Establish and customize delivery methodologies.

• Assist in outlining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

• Organize project resources and assemble as well as lead project teams.

• Manage project estimation, timelines, and scope.

• Identify project risks and implement necessary adjustments.

• Promote ongoing process enhancement.

• Monitor deliverables and keep track of project status through reporting.

• Ensure the quality of projects and products while maintaining customer satisfaction.

• Collaborate with the Lead Delivery Manager.

• Align project execution with the product vision, client requirements, and desired business value.

• Work in partnership with stakeholders to deliver impactful features and optimize ROI.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years in IT Project Management.

• Demonstrated experience managing the entire lifecycle of complex commercial projects from initiation to successful completion.

• Strong proficiency in strategic planning, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple concurrent delivery streams.

• Capability to plan, organize, and adapt delivery processes according to shifting priorities.

• Experience in creating project charters, detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and comprehensive schedules using CPM, Gantt charts, MS Project, or similar tools.

• Experience in developing sprint plans, managing release cycles, and converting scope into actionable, trackable tasks.

• Proficient in applying relevant SDLC frameworks.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills and cross-functional communication abilities.

• Familiarity with MS Teams, Azure DevOps (ADO), and Wikis for collaboration and reporting.

• Strong leadership skills and experience managing team capacity across distributed, cross-functional teams.

• Experience with RACI matrices and workload planning.

• Proficient in identifying, assessing, and mitigating delivery risks using both qualitative and quantitative methods, including Probability-Impact matrices and ROAM.

• Experience in defining and tracking quality metrics, such as defect density, rework rates, and acceptance rates.

• Skilled in effort estimation in hours and story points; developing Level of Effort (LOE) and utilization plans.

• Experience in monitoring schedule and utilization variances and implementing corrective measures.

• Experience in defining and monitoring delivery metrics, including velocity, burn rate, and throughput.

• Advanced/Upper-Intermediate proficiency in written and spoken English.

• Experience as a Developer/Architect or Business Analyst (desirable).

• Experience working with enterprise-level organizations (desirable).

• Knowledge of the SAFe framework (desirable).

• PMP certification or equivalent (desirable).
