Technical Delivery Lead

📋 Description

• Act as the Scrum Master and Delivery Lead for engineering teams by organizing and facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and demonstrations.

• Transform technical notes and product feedback into comprehensive and technically accurate engineering requirements, tasks, and user stories.

• Document scoped work in tracking systems to ensure engineering teams receive clear assignments.

• Balance the fast-paced development of AI prototypes with organized enterprise pipeline stabilization cycles.

• Manage dependencies across teams and coordinate efforts with Product, Cloud Operations, DevOps, and external contractors.

• Obtain accounts, access, and information necessary to keep teams productive and unblocked.

• Convert architectural guidelines, such as network isolation, database connection limits, and cost management, into engineering workflows.

• Collaborate with System Architects on the secure utilization of AWS services and data read replicas while maintaining security boundaries, tenant isolation, and regional compliance.

• Facilitate technical review sessions to establish storage strategies that align with developer requirements and enterprise infrastructure standards.

• Oversee evaluation frameworks for multi-step agent workflows to ensure predictable behavior and eliminate unhandled hallucinations.

• Provide guidance to a Senior AI Systems team and a Junior Development team, acting as a technical liaison between AI Engineering and Software and Architecture functions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in Software Engineering and Technical Leadership.

• More than 3 years of experience in leading engineering or technical teams.

• Demonstrated experience implementing agile methodologies, including Scrum/Kanban, in multi-tiered or split engineering teams.

• Familiarity with LLMs and enterprise-level systems.

• Experience collaborating with System Architects and cross-functional teams, including product, cloud operations, and external contractors.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management and experience in negotiating architectural and infrastructure decisions for engineering teams.

• Practical implementation experience with Vercel AI SDK, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex (preferred).

• Understanding of agentic orchestration frameworks like LangGraph and AWS Step Functions, or similar, at an architectural governance level (preferred).

• Working knowledge of Amazon Bedrock APIs, Guardrails, and Knowledge Base configurations (preferred).

• Understanding of vector retrieval strategies, including pgvector and Amazon OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, as well as in-memory data stores such as Amazon MemoryDB, Redis OSS, or Valkey (preferred).

• Experience in designing for idempotency and stateful rollback in distributed AI pipelines (preferred).
