Junior UX Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with UX researchers to support generative and evaluative research focused on assistive technology users across websites, web applications, mobile applications, and software.

• Identify user pain points, preferences, and behaviors through interviews.

• Record interview insights using a structured note-taking system.

• Analyze and synthesize research results to produce actionable insights.

• Deliver clear and timely updates on project status to Fable team members.

• Maintain internal documentation for customers.

• Monitor deliverables using the project management system.

• Work together with support teams to coordinate participant interviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience facilitating user interviews for digital products within a UXR context.

• Capable of defining research objectives, articulating hypotheses, and selecting the most effective research methods for diverse challenges.

• Proven experience in translating research findings into thematic insights.

• Compassionate and patient demeanor, coupled with the confidence and assertiveness to drive tasks to completion.

• Strong active listening and problem-solving abilities.

• Meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to quickly establish relationships and connect with individuals.

• Highly organized, capable of managing a substantial volume of tasks independently.

• Tech-savvy, with the skills to navigate various applications and software.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork capabilities.

• Eager to learn about assistive technology, accessibility, and user research.

• Open-minded and personable, with an appreciation for human diversity.

• Experience with assistive technology or interaction with assistive technology users is a plus.
