Technical Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Extract, query, and analyze data from source systems, data warehouses, and intricate relational databases utilizing advanced SQL and analytical scripting tools.

• Examine and interpret data lineage, transformations, and business rules across various systems.

• Create custom, either one-off or iterative analytical datasets for audits, compliance reviews, operational investigations, and business inquiries.

• Validate and reconcile data, pinpointing anomalies, inconsistencies, and control gaps.

• Convert complex business inquiries into structured analytical methodologies.

• Document data sources, transformation logic, validation techniques, and analytical processes.

• Work collaboratively with analysts, audit, compliance, operational, and technical teams.

• Identify and report data quality issues, definition inconsistencies, and data capture gaps.

• Develop reusable queries, scripts, and analytical methodologies wherever applicable.

• Present analytical findings, methodologies, assumptions, and limitations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Undertake special projects as directed by the SVP, Audit Services.

• Foster relationships with Nemours Associates while maintaining independence and objectivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree is required in a field related to sciences, coding, software engineering, or business.

• Over 5 years of experience; candidates with 3 to 5 years of experience may be considered if their knowledge and attributes align well with the position and team culture.

• Preferred certifications in SQL, data analysis, or related disciplines.
