This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the workflows between operational departments.
• Regularly communicate the status of ongoing tasks to end users as well as the Team Lead or DataOps Manager.
• Analyze insurance claims, import/export files, and eligibility file mappings to address operational inquiries.
• Identify technical issues arising from incorrect enrollments or changes in enrollment on EDI files.
• Collaborate with engineering partners to resolve EDI-related problems.
• Oversee ongoing EDI testing, implementations, and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and report operational error messages.
• Troubleshoot and report errors related to file movement, including SFTP connection issues.
• Compare reports and data files against established business requirements to ensure quality and identify discrepancies.
• Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the Team Lead or DataOps Manager.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in system analysis, data analysis, and/or process improvement.
• At least 2 years of experience within the Healthcare Industry.
• An associate or bachelor's degree is preferred, although not mandatory.
• Knowledge of the Healthcare and TPA Industry is preferred.
• Exceptional critical thinking abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word, at an intermediate to advanced level.
• Familiarity with flat file data structures such as CSV or pipe-delimited formats.
• Experience utilizing data analysis tools like Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or other relevant software.
• Proven experience in analyzing data, reviewing requirements, and offering insights and solutions for informed business decision-making.
• Ability to work collaboratively, lead discussions, and negotiate requirements across various teams.
• Knowledge or experience with ANSI 5010 transactions such as 837, 835, 834, and 270/271.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.
• Must occasionally move within the office to access office equipment, filing cabinets, and meeting rooms.
• Must consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
• Must frequently position oneself to maintain files in filing cabinets.
• Must frequently lift boxes or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Must effectively communicate information and ideas clearly and exchange accurate information.
• Must be capable of observing details at close range.
