Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design and develop data pipelines utilizing Microsoft Fabric Data Factory.

• Create and sustain Lakehouse and Warehouse solutions within Microsoft Fabric.

• Implement and oversee Bronze, Silver, and Gold Layer architectures.

• Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting and transforming data from diverse sources.

• Monitor pipeline performance and resolve data quality issues.

• Design and create Fact Tables and Dimension Tables adhering to dimensional modeling principles.

• Establish and maintain Star Schema and Snowflake Schema data models.

• Define surrogate keys, business keys, and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD) as necessary.

• Optimize data models for enhanced reporting and analytics performance.

• Write intricate SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation.

• Build views, stored procedures, and reusable query frameworks.

• Conduct query optimization and performance tuning.

• Develop Python-based data transformation and validation scripts using Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, and Requests.

• Automate data quality checks and reconciliation processes.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements.

• Develop datasets optimized for Power BI reporting.

• Assist in the creation of KPIs, metrics, and business data definitions.

• Ensure data governance and consistency across analytical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-7 years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence.

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure-based analytics platforms.

• Demonstrated experience in building Fact Tables, Dimension Tables, Data Pipelines, and Power BI datasets.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Services.

• Familiarity with Delta Tables and Apache Spark.

• Knowledge of CI/CD and Git-based development practices.

• Understanding of data governance and lineage concepts.

• Microsoft Fabric Certification preferred: DP-600, DP-700.
