Technical Consultant – Water Treatment, Closed Loop Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands, +6 more countries.

📋 Description

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for closed loop systems.

• Deliver practical technical leadership across customer applications, internal projects, and innovation initiatives.

• Diagnose closed loop and thermal management issues.

• Assist with direct-to-chip liquid cooling applications, which include commissioning, cold plates, cooling distribution units, secondary loops, and infrastructure interfaces.

• Work alongside field sales and corporate account teams on technical sales prospects.

• Comprehend client requirements and propose treatment and operational solutions.

• Offer customer training and support for system utilization and optimization.

• Oversee root cause analysis and problem-solving activities at customer locations.

• Evaluate water treatment programs and document projects aimed at improving operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with R&D and Marketing on innovation projects from conception to launch.

• Direct innovation pilots, technical trials, and market trials.

• Conduct training sessions for associates and clients.

• Mentor organizational personnel on processes, applications, technologies, and value documentation.

• Provide support to customers across Europe, involving 50% or more overnight travel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven technical expertise in closed loop systems, water treatment, thermal management, process engineering, HVAC, industrial cooling, data center infrastructure, or related technical fields.

• Capability to apply technical principles related to chemistry, materials compatibility, fluid selection, heat transfer, automation, digital monitoring, equipment, and engineered solutions.

• Exceptional communication, consulting, coaching, and mentoring abilities.

• Problem-solving attitude focused on intricate challenges.

• Willingness and capability to travel throughout Europe to customer locations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science (Chemistry or Microbiology) is preferred.

• Over 5 years of experience in closed loop water treatment, glycol-based systems, thermal management, data center infrastructure, direct-to-chip liquid cooling, or related cooling and heat transfer applications.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation abilities.

• Self-driven, proactive, results-oriented mindset with capability to work with minimal supervision.

• Team-oriented, proactive, and a sense of urgency.

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.

• English CV is mandatory; only applications submitted in English will be considered.
