Technical Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide assistance and ongoing maintenance for current applications

• Evaluate functional and technical requirements

• Implement enhancements and develop solutions for legacy systems

• Collaborate on applications built in Visual Basic 5 and .NET

• Create, modify, and oversee queries, scripts, and procedures in Transact-SQL (T-SQL)

• Investigate incidents and work together on their resolution

• Engage directly with clients and business users

• Convert business needs into technical specifications and articulate concepts clearly

• Document modifications, solutions, and incidents

• Collaborate with the technical team to enhance and sustain applications

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed or ongoing studies in Systems, Computer Science, Programming, or a related discipline

• 1–3 years of experience in development, application support, or other similar technical roles

• Strong programming fundamentals and logical reasoning skills

• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL

• Experience with a backend programming language, such as .NET, Java, Visual Basic, or similar

• Strong analytical capabilities

• Excellent communication skills

• Self-motivated and accountable

• Willingness to learn

• Must reside in Hispanic Latin America

• Familiarity with Visual Basic 5 / classic Visual Basic is advantageous

• Experience with .NET / C# is beneficial

• Knowledge of Transact-SQL (T-SQL) and SQL Server is an advantage

• Experience in maintaining or modernizing legacy systems is a plus

• Previous experience in support or user/client interaction is a plus
