Technical Compliance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malta, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Delivering independent oversight and assurance regarding adherence to technical requirements for the business.

• Actively researching technical requirements and regulations for both new and existing markets, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to provide compliant solutions.

• Conducting technical compliance gap assessments and analyses across applicable jurisdictions and markets where the company operates or intends to operate.

• Offering guidance to teams and departments on the interpretation of technical regulations, requirements, and standards.

• Advising on the implementation of technical solutions and products.

• Maintaining ongoing communication with key internal and external stakeholders, including product development teams and third-party B2B suppliers.

• Ensuring that products are technically compliant within the operating jurisdictions.

• Engaging with regulators on technical compliance issues, including the preparation of necessary reports.

• Continuously evaluating product compliance and operational risks.

• Organizing compliance tasks and reporting identified technical compliance risks and gaps.

• Suggesting compliant technical solutions and spearheading their implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in a Technical Compliance position within the iGaming sector.

• Experience working in an ISO27001 compliant environment.

• Ability to convert technical compliance elements into clear development requirements that benefit engineering teams.

• Strong understanding of the iGaming business framework (B2B) along with best practice standards and requirements.

• Excellent planning and organizational abilities.

• Outstanding communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail, composure, and patience.

• Highly pragmatic and proactive in approach.

• Capability to work independently with minimal management oversight.

• A team player with a hands-on mindset.
