This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Drive the development of new business within the Aerospace & Defense sectors while serving as the regional liaison for market advancements in Eastern Europe.
• Spearhead the creation of new business opportunities, product innovations, and design-in initiatives with key clients, either directly or by supporting the Sales team and Distribution partners.
• Cultivate robust working relationships with essential stakeholders at strategic customers and within the industry.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Sales, Field Application Engineers, and Product Development teams to enhance business growth.
• Develop and deliver product and application presentations to current and prospective customers, showcasing the value proposition and expertise in interconnect technologies.
• Identify prospects for expanding the product portfolio.
• Supply structured market and competitive insights, along with customer feedback.
• Contribute input and present proposals for new products and associated technologies.
• Oversee and manage the execution of new product development and growth initiatives.
• Master the Sales Opportunity Management Process in accordance with CRM systems and reporting practices.
• Background in economics and/or technical fields, preferably with a degree in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic/Aerospace Engineering.
• Experience in the connector market (5+ years) may be accepted in place of a degree.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or product management within the connectors or related industry.
• Familiarity with design-in/spec-in processes and purchasing protocols in the connectors or related fields.
• Proven success in generating new business opportunities.
• Strong technical acumen.
• Demonstrated capability to manage customer interactions effectively, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-driven and capable of working independently with limited supervision.
• Hands-on, highly motivated, and a team player with proven leadership abilities across functional departments.
• Organizational skills to anticipate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate efforts to meet and surpass strategic goals.
• Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time to engage with potential or existing clients.
• Proficiency in English.
• Residing in the Czech Republic or Poland, where ITT has a legal presence.
• Demonstrated experience in the aerospace and defense military connector sector.
