This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia, +1 more country.
• Drive the growth of ITT Connectors within the Aerospace & Defense sectors, encompassing smart defense, military vehicles, soldier systems, civil aviation, and space.
• Act as the regional interface for Eastern Europe by monitoring market trends and developments.
• Identify and cultivate new business and design-in opportunities with key strategic customers.
• Lead initiatives for new business, new product opportunities, and design-in activities, either directly or in collaboration with Sales and Distribution partners.
• Establish and nurture relationships with strategic customers and industry stakeholders.
• Collaborate effectively with Product Managers, Sales teams, Field Application Engineers, and Product Development teams.
• Create and deliver product and application presentations that showcase the value of interconnect technology.
• Discover opportunities to enhance the product portfolio.
• Provide market insights, competitive intelligence, and the voice of the customer.
• Present proposals for new products and associated technologies.
• Coordinate and manage programs for new product development and growth initiatives.
• Master the Sales Opportunity Management Process within the CRM system, along with reporting practices.
• A background in economics and/or technology is preferred, ideally possessing a degree in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic/Aerospace Engineering.
• Significant experience in the connector market (5+ years) may substitute for a degree.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or product management within the connectors or a related industry.
• Familiarity with design-in/spec-in and purchasing processes relevant to the connectors or related industry.
• A proven history of generating new business.
• Strong technical acumen.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Self-motivated with the capability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• A hands-on, highly motivated team player demonstrating leadership across various functional departments.
• Organizational skills to achieve and surpass strategic goals.
• Willingness to travel a minimum of 50% of the time.
• Proficient in English.
• Must be located in the Czech Republic or Poland where ITT maintains a legal entity.
• Demonstrated experience in the aerospace and defense military connector market.
