Technical Architect – Senior Technical Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Act as a strategic consultant and expert in Salesforce products and platforms for large, intricate Defense & National Security clients.

• Engage in presales and implementation activities.

• Define, shape, and create solutions for engagements.

• Provide technical guidance and leadership on extensive, mission-critical projects.

• Mentor Salesforce teams and clients in the Federal sector.

• Promote architectural excellence and align strategically with customers.

• Cultivate a high-performance team environment.

• Function as a reliable advisor to clients.

• Lead important internal initiatives aimed at expanding the consulting practice.

• Contribute to the collective knowledge base and expertise within the community.

• Assist clients and colleagues in implementing emerging technologies to enhance business value.

• Identify and manage risk factors, ensuring complete resolution.

• Manage client expectations and negotiate solutions with customers and third-party vendors.

• Review and adjust project/program direction, strategies, and key documentation.

• Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and clients to design technology solutions.

• Contribute to the overall program vision and provide strategic advice on projects that involve enabling technologies, including the Salesforce Platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of enterprise architecture or consulting experience related to the Salesforce Platform.

• Proficient in application design.

• Strong skills in data, integration, and security architecture.

• Excellent presentation abilities.

• Capacity to quickly learn and leverage new concepts, business models, and technologies.

• Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.

• Ability to create materials tailored to different audiences.

• Aptitude for connecting with individuals in varied roles.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze, design, and enhance business processes through technology and integration.

• Resourceful and innovative in problem-solving.

• Degree or equivalent relevant experience is required.

• Active U.S. Government security clearance: Secret, TS, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with Poly preferred.

• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or multiple Salesforce Architecture certifications preferred.

• Experience in public sector digital transformation initiatives preferred.

• Hands-on experience with Public Sector Solutions (“Agentforce Public Sector”) preferred.

• A background in application design and development is preferred.

• U.S. citizenship (either by birth or naturalization) is required.

• Must not have dual citizenship.

• Agreement to undergo a U.S. federal government Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) for a Moderate Public Trust position.

• Qualification is dependent on satisfactory background investigation results and obtaining and maintaining the necessary security clearance.

• Travel may be necessary based on client needs.

• Preference for candidates located in the Metro DC area.
