Technical Architect, Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and implement technology architecture solutions customized for platforms, products, or client projects.

• Analyze intricate business requirements and convert them into scalable technical strategies and solution designs.

• Ensure architecture aligns with both current and future organizational objectives, including enterprise content management, data governance, and scalable architecture practices.

• Work collaboratively with business analysts, developers, infrastructure engineers, and security engineers to guarantee integration and system functionality.

• Assess and suggest performance enhancement, system integration, and cloud-based solution strategies.

• Assist in the design and execution of SAP S/4HANA-based solutions.

• Keep abreast of emerging technology trends and adjust architecture strategies accordingly.

• Offer technical guidance and thought leadership throughout the process from requirements gathering to implementation and support.

• Ensure compliance with DoD 8140/8570 cybersecurity workforce certification standards.

• Engage in quality assurance activities and safeguard sensitive information in accordance with security policies.

• Undertake other related tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 8–10 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s or master’s degree, or 10–13 years of relevant experience without a degree, in technology architecture, solution design, or a related field.

• Current Security+ certification or another DoD 8140/8570-approved credential, or the ability to acquire one within [X] days of hire.

• Practical experience with SAP S/4HANA.

• Proven experience in designing and delivering technology architecture solutions across various platforms, products, or client engagements.

• Strong analytical abilities to convert complex business needs into scalable technical solutions.

• Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active government clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

• Knowledge of enterprise content management systems and data governance frameworks.

• Experience with cloud solutions and cloud architecture patterns, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Proficient in system integration tools and middleware, such as SAP BTP/Integration Suite, MuleSoft, or Dell Boomi.

• Additional DoD 8140/8570-approved certifications, such as CISSP, CASP+, or CySA+.

• SAP certifications relevant to S/4HANA architecture or specific functional or technical modules.

• TOGAF or another enterprise architecture framework certification.

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience supporting government or DoD programs that require an active security clearance.

• Familiarity with Agile or SAP Activate delivery methodologies.

• Experience in conducting performance optimization and scalability evaluations for large-scale enterprise platforms.
