Senior Rust Consultant, Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Engage in dynamic client projects immediately following a swift and effective onboarding process.

• Create high-quality software for prestigious market leaders and international corporations.

• Provide strategic advice to clients at the C-level and architectural level.

• Assume consulting duties while actively participating in code development from initial client engagement to project completion.

• Assist clients in integrating forward-thinking technologies with economic viability.

• Design modern technologies and scalable architectures adhering to established best practices.

• Independently identify the most suitable technical solutions.

• Share knowledge and collaborate with internal open-source and engineering teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience in Rust development.

• In-depth understanding of memory management and concurrency.

• Experience in delivering professional consulting services to clients.

• Capability to organize complex subjects and present them confidently to groups.

• Strong technical skills combined with excellent communication abilities.

• Willingness to showcase Rust code or project references.

• Fluent in both German and English for technical discussions and interactions with teams and clients.

• Readiness to travel occasionally to client locations, averaging once per quarter.

• Full-time dedication required.

• Familiarity with or experience in Rust, Go, TypeScript, Python, C++, C#/.NET, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, CouchDB, MQTT, React, Vue.js, Svelte, Ruby on Rails, Docker, Kubernetes, BalenaOS, NixOS, Grafana, Prometheus, GitLab CI, GitLab Actions, AWS, and Azure.
