This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Cultivate and expand relationships with engineering, sourcing, and business stakeholders within key ODM and OEM accounts.
• Drive opportunities for design wins by effectively positioning Molex interconnect solutions within customer platforms and future product strategies.
• Act as the main technical liaison, translating customer needs into solutions that align with Molex’s capabilities and business goals.
• Assess system architectures, application needs, and design limitations to propose standard or tailored interconnect solutions.
• Oversee the technical sales process from identifying opportunities to evaluation, qualification, production launch, and revenue generation.
• Provide technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution proposals.
• Collaborate with teams in Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Commercial sectors.
• Assist in pricing negotiations, quotations, forecasting, and business case formulation.
• Keep track of customer technology roadmaps, market dynamics, and competitive activities.
• Share market intelligence, competitive insights, and solution feedback with internal teams.
• Aid in technical troubleshooting and resolution of issues during validation, qualification, and production phases.
• Offer product training and technical support to customers, channel partners, and sales teams.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking both Mandarin Chinese and English.
• Background in technical sales, field applications engineering, solutions engineering, account management, product marketing, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
• Experience assisting customers in a technical B2B setting, preferably within electronics, semiconductor, connectivity, networking, telecommunications, data centers, enterprise hardware, or similar technology sectors.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, customer needs, and system-level designs.
• Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and translating technical concepts into business benefits.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Experience working directly with OEM and/or ODM engineering teams is advantageous.
• Proven ability to manage multiple customer opportunities and extended sales cycles concurrently.
• Familiarity with connectors, cable assemblies, high-speed interconnects, networking hardware, servers, storage solutions, or data center infrastructure.
• Experience supporting customers in AI, cloud computing, networking, telecommunications, or enterprise hardware is a plus.
• Proven track record in securing design wins and enhancing strategic customer relationships.
• Experience presenting technical solutions to engineering leaders, business stakeholders, and executive teams.
• Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional global teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%, including occasional domestic and international trips.
