Tech Transactions Paralegal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate, revise, and oversee commercial agreements under the guidance of attorneys, including MSAs, NDAs, SaaS agreements, DPAs, and BAAs.

• Assist with the comprehensive commercial contract lifecycle from initiation to execution.

• Provide support to venture-backed startup clients in sectors such as AI, health tech, ed tech, biotech, and more.

• Manage healthcare-related agreements and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Enhance internal workflows, documentation, and transitions to boost team efficiency and quality of delivery.

• Work collaboratively with attorneys, project managers, and engineers within a squad-based framework.

• Offer continuous, integrated client support.

• Oversee contract workflows.

• Assist attorneys in maximizing their leverage.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–20 years of relevant experience.

• Practical experience in reviewing and annotating commercial agreements, including MSAs, NDAs, and SaaS contracts.

• Diverse industry exposure across various sectors; limited experience with a single client or industry is not acceptable.

• Healthcare experience is essential.

• Knowledge of BAAs and HIPAA-related stipulations.

• Ability to thrive in a fully remote, fast-paced, and highly autonomous work environment.

• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Experience in participating in or leading AI tool implementations, such as Harvey, Legora, or Co-pilot.

• A genuine passion for building initiatives from the ground up and refining legal service delivery.

• Background in working across a broad spectrum of industries.
